It is best to take control of your disease. You may not be able to "cure" your diabetes, but you can certainly control it through healthy living.

Life style change: By avoiding sugar, alcohol, processed foods, grains except for quinoa and eating healthy foods, eating 6 equal meals, getting a good night sleep, moving through the day, lowering stress, and taking sufficient vit d you can avoid the complications of diabetes and avoid the need for medication but you will not regain the ability to tolerate added sugar. But these changes will improve overall health.
