If it gets absorbed: in the first place, topical hydrocortisone doesn't get absorbed into the blood stream unless it is applied on a large surface area / covered after application with plastic or non porous material (occlusive dressing) or applied heavily in flexures (under breasts, armpits) and not left to dry, just be careful, don't exceed recommended dosage, if gets absorbed though takes ~ 16-24 hours to leave
