Bile gastropathy: Gastropathy means "problem with the stomach", usually gastritis. Bile is secreted by the liver to help digest fat, and enters the bowel just after the stomach (into the duodenum). If bile refluxes back up into the stomach, it can cause intense irritation and gastritis. Its more common in diabetes and after gall bladder removal.

?question: You may need to re-word your question. I have never heard of this before. Are you sure you are spelling it correctly? Bile reflux gastropathy, also known as alkaline “gastritis, ” presents with abdominal pain after eating and bilious vomiting.
