Cough 411: If no audible wheezing, the cough is dry without mucus production, and he still has no fever, his cough could simply be remnant of his previous cold or post nasal drip. Studies have found that regular pasteurized honey up to 2 tablespoons every 4 hours is as effective as Robitussin and no side effects. If you believe postnasal drip his also contributing to his symptoms real sudafed can be helpful.
