Cephalexin - Dryness: I would have to say that I have not heard many patients express this side effect after taking cephalexin. If you're taking it for a respiratory or sinus condition, that might explain the dry throat and mucous membranes. I don't believe this is drug related so unless there is some medical reason for fluid restriction, you can feel free to force fluids while taking the cephalexin.
