Bilateral DVT.: It is possible to have a DVT in both legs simultaneously. This can happen in people for whom the risk exists in both legs concurrently, such as someone on a long plane trip or drive in a car, or someone who is immobilized after surgery or trauma. This could especially happen in someone with some inborn reason to clot, which may be sought in this context.
