Probably can.: I do not know of any relationship between sunlight or a sunbed being a contraindication to someone with DVT. We do recommend heat to the area as an adjunct to treatment for an acute DVT. My concern would be a burn to the area in the vicinity of the DVT which could possibly make swelling worse. If you choose to use a sunbed, do so cautiously.

Sure, but why?: No contraindications to using the sun bed other than the risk of melanoma and death.
