DVT: Yes it's ok to take at 8:30. As long as you take it every day. A1-2 hour difference will not make a difference. Try to take it at the same time every day.

Take it now: The anticoagulant effect of warfarin/coumadin persists beyond 24 hours. If you missed a dose of wafarin at the intended time of day, you should take the dose as soon as possible on the same day. You should not double the dose the next day to make up for a missed dose.
