Two issues: you have a hernia for 15 years. You have a strong fear of surgery. For the fear you should talk to your doctor and get help. This could really hinder your life. For the hernia if it is not too big the surgery is safe and can be done with a camera. You may have a new joy in life after surgery. Hope this helps.
