Dog bite: Make sure you have had your tetanus shot recently. Dog bites are at least not as bad as cat or human bites. If there is any doubt at all that the dog could have rabies ie. unvaccinated, the dog needs to be under surveillance. Call animal control if that is the case. Don't take a chance.. If your bite becomes infected, and you aren't allergic to penicilling, Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is often used.
