Monitor: I would monitor the site for redness, swelling or drainage. Most will heal well and this is not an unusual injury . Try to avoid the clippers in the future. You can use a small square of fine sandpaper to buff off the end of the nails as they grow.It flexes with the change in contour and will never cut. I don't use emery boards as they are too stiff and take off too much skin.
