can you ovulate in the beginning of the month or when you miss you period ?

Ovulation timing: If you miss your period, it's difficult to time ovulation. If you're notaking hormones or birth control pills, missing a period means that you're either pregnant or didn't ovulate on time. You shoudl do a pregancy test and, if negative, see your doctor if your period doesn't start.

Neither : It is just a brief high dose of Progesterone that disrupts ovulation. The effects are out of your system within a few days with no long term effects.
