Probably didn't : When you ovulate you should either get a period about 2 weeks later or be pregnant. Occasionally a cyst can cause a delay, but otherwise no period means you did not ovulate.

Lots of things: There are many reasons why women miss their period. Pregnancy should be ruled out first. Other potential causes include anovulation (no egg release), hormonal dysfunction, eating disorders, rigorous exercise, stress, thyroid or other hormonal dysfunction, systemic diseases (lupus, kidney disease, thyroid disease), and pcos to name a few. You should be evaluated by your doctor.
