Get urine retested: It is important to check on the results of the initial urine culture used to establish the diagnosis of UTI. This will tell you if the antibiotic that you were prescribed was effective for the infection. Since you are still having symptoms, seeing your doctor to get your urine rechecked for signs of continued infection is important. Also would check for Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma infection.
