A member asked:

I have hard immoveable painless lump below my right jaw. it appeared just a day ago. i have blisters on my tounge. no other symptoms. is it cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: lesions under jaw bone are in digastric triangle. The submax gland as well as nodes are present here. Lymp nodes grow slowly here and are associated with a tongue or floor of mouth Ca,, not tonue blisters. A calculus in the submax duct is one of the few patholgies that cause rapid appearance of a hard submax mass. See ENT for dx and possible removal of calculus.
