My tonsil feels like they're swollen and have for a while now and i'm not showing any symptoms for anything what could be the problem?

Quite a lot of thing: mostly infection. Viral infections including mononucleosis are the most common. Fever/ large lymph nodes, drainage are signs that antibiotics would be needed and having none of these would imply a virus where antibiotics won't do anything. cannot say for sure unless seeing it.
