Consult a podiatrist: Numbness on standing relates to entrapment of a nerve under the ball of your foot, this can easily be diagnosed with physical exam, I would recommend a podiatry consult, also try wearing an arch support insole with a metatarsal bump, might help in the mean time. Always wear thicker softer soled shoes to avoid this condition from getting worse.
