Not ovulating: The test is probably working correctly. It may be that you are not ovulating yet. Continue to use the other sticks in the test kit on a daily basis until it turns positive. Good Luck!

Discreetly ...: If you have regular cycles use an ovulation predictor kit between 10 am and noon, starting on day 10 of your cycle. The first morning urine is not accurate. At work you can test discreetly in a restroom stall. Try the ovuquick brand (search online) if a drugstore test doesn't work for you. The day of a positive test and the next 2 days are the most fertile. If you have irregular cycles see a rei.

Hard to say: I suspect the test measures one of many hormones (lh, fsh, estradiol, progestin) to name common ones.I suggest you go with a change in body temp taken at the same time each day, you should see a change on ovulation.Slightly higher after ovulating.Aim for days 11-15.

Ovulation today: Hi nessa,
that is how the test works. The ovulation test detects the natural lh surge which from start to end only lasts about 24 hours. That is why once it's postive, you do not need to re check again. Good luck!
