Sick: You did not give any symptoms for us to base any suggestions on. Sounds like your doctors feel it is gastrointestinal, so I would follow their advice and continue with the workup that has been outlined.

Feeling sick: Sorry to hear about your troubles. Unfortunately, you didn't provide a lot of information about your condition and based on one symptom it is virtually impossible to make a correct diagnosis. Common things that can cause nausea are - gastritis (stomach lining inflammation), ulcer, reflux (acid), H.Pylori infection. Gallbladder issues (stones) can be another common issue.
