Lymph node: Lymph nodes, located all over the body, become swollen when there is an infection nearby. The lymph node swells as it ramps up production of WBC's to fight the infection. After the infection resolves, the swollen lymph nodes slowly shrink back to normal size. In lymphoma, the node continues to get larger and harder.

See your Doctor: It is not a presenting symptom of lymphoma-cough and phlegm. I noticed several questions from you in this regards. Seems your very much concerned about it and may be stressed out too.Best way is to be seen by your MD and if needed he ca or she can do some work up as well . Once the issue of Lymphoma is ruled out you will be at peace
