Globus Hystericus: is the condition is what doctors commonly call “Globus,” and patients call a “lump or foreign body in the throat." The patient is suffering a lot of discomfort and there is no need for the condition to persist as it can often be treated successfully. A first step in diagnosis and treatment is to see your PCP.
