I found an odd lump in my chest right by my collarbone; what could it be? it seems like a bone almost when you touch it and it's fairly large but i just recently found it and it did not exist before nor is it painful. what could it most likely be?

Hello. : Hello. What you are describing might be a subclavicular lymph node. If you were a heavy smoker, with other health problems, it could sometimes be enlarged with lung cancer. However, you are not listing those type of things. However, i would recommend that you get it checked out. Lymph nodes drain germs, dead white blood cells and gunk from areas of inflammation or infection. On the other hand, it you have had clavicular injury in the past, it could be due to that.
