May be persistent.: depending on the cause, erosive gastritis may be persistent for years. If H pylori is present, then it should be treated. If not, you may need to be on medication for it. I would return to the gastroneurologist who diagnosed the gastritis to make a plan to treated adequately for you. Good luck.
