Be patient.: Sleepiness from Neurontin (gabapentin) typically go away as your body adjusts to the medication and do not require medical attention. It might take 3-4 weeks. BTW, it's absolutely reasonable for you to ask your psychiatrist questions if you need more information.

Maybe: often times your body does adjust to the sedation caused by Neurontin (gabapentin). However you and your physician may want to consider slightly decreasing the dosage – this may lead to a significant decrease in the sedation
