FBS and 2 hour PP: A fasting blood sugar and 2 hour post-prandial glucose is an excellent screening test for Diabetes in pregnant women. If it is borderline abnormal, then your OB MD may require a full "glucola" drink to be certain of the diagnosis. However, if the FBS and 2 hour PP are abnormal, then the diagnosis is made.
