I've had chest pressure for over a month, a cough, congestion, shoulder pain, back pain. dr. put me on augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) & zpack. still not better. opinion?

Finish antibiotics: I would advise that you complete your course of antibiotics that you were prescribed. If you don't feel better after a complete course of antibiotics, go back to the original doctor and let him/her know. Perhaps you need a different type of antibiotic or you need a reevaluation to see if you need more aggressive treatment, like draining any sources of extra fluid that might have accumulated.
