Finish antibiotics: I would advise that you complete your course of antibiotics that you were prescribed. If you don't feel better after a complete course of antibiotics, go back to the original doctor and let him/her know. Perhaps you need a different type of antibiotic or you need a reevaluation to see if you need more aggressive treatment, like draining any sources of extra fluid that might have accumulated.

Patience my friend!: Sometimes cough lingers on after acute Bronchitis and URI or Sinusitis is treated with antibiotics. The Inflammation and Irritation of the Bigger Airways, some times Post Nasal Drip tickling the Throat from Congestion and if one has History of Asthma this will last for longer time. Try Steam Inhalation and Ginger tea. Anti histminics will also help you. Finally there is noo substitute for PE
