Take folic acid: Take folic acid to help reduce the side effects of methotrexate. http://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/folate/evidence/hrb-20059475 It is usually recommended to take folic acid on the days when you are not taking methotrexate. PLease consult with your doctor on this matter.
