Don't be afraid.: Pain after meals can be frightening, but having your gall bladder removed eliminates that as a cause of your pain. I would recommend seeing a gastroenterologist for an upper endoscopy and evaluation for reflux/ulcer disease. In the mean time you should take a daily over the counter acid reducer such as Pepcid, Nexium (esomeprazole) or Prilosec.
