My brother has ms. i have single sided progressive deafness that was investigated with two mris, both came back normal. my optic nerves are also fine. the mris done for me was head only though, no spine. should i also be concerned about ms?

MS is not a hereditary disorder, and unless your brother is a twin, you have an average population risk at most. Your symptoms do not suggest MS at this point, and unilateral deafness is not a presenting sign of MS. See an otolaryngologist for your ear. Accompany your brother to his neurology appointment, and make certain he is taking a high efficacy disease modifying agent, plus Vitamin D.
