Can't say for sure: Terribly sorry about your loss. incompetent cervix is not defined by a measurement, particularly one that shrinks. It is defined by painless cervical dilation, no contractions or signs of labor. Did the pregnancy loss happen with labor or a total surprise? Best wishes!
