Why do doctors only check 30 to 70% range for straight leg test? what does it mean if you only get mild symptoms at 90% and your not that flexible

Back pain: If you have lower back pain the leg raise is a good way to assess injury to the lumbar spine. If you feel pain at 30-70% range then the lumbar spine is a concern. There is no benefit to overextending the leg since it may cause more injury. If this is bothering you then you should see a Pmd and have further imaging performed
