Gastric ulcer: If truly a gastric ulcer need an endoscopy to biopsy it and then can be treated. Also need H pylori checked at time of endoscopy. Suggest you start on Prilosec and go see a GI doctor right away.

See a specialist: I believer whoever diagnosed you with a gastric ulcer would have started you on some treatment. But if not you may need proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole/ pantoprazole etc.)

No doctor?: If you can't get to a doctor, the best alternatives will be a gentle diet. Avoid acidic food, spice, salt, fatty or heavy foods. Smaller, slow meals. Chew a long time before swallowing for digestion help from saliva. Don't drink during meals or right after - before is good. Be active - but before meals, not right after. Rest & relax as possible.
