A doctor has provided 1 answer

Inflammation: Any traumatic removal of a skin lesion including a wart that is not done under medical supervision could lead to a infection and it is possible that if the site becomes increasingly read, warm, tender that it could be developing into a cellulitis and a consultation with an infectious disease physician is warranted
