Bad idea : Clomid (clomiphene) has plenty of annoying side effects (mood swings, headaches, hot flash, pain) but the real concern is that using it improperly may increase the risk of ovarian cancer and multiple pregnancies. It should always be used under the supervision of knowledgeable physician.
