Call her doctor: and have her seen. It may be a virus, but the only way to tell is for her to be examined by her doctor. Meanwhile, be reassured that fever such as this is just a sign that her body is fighting an infection and is not dangerous to her, just uncomfortable. Be sure that she is drinking plenty of fluids. The fever reducing medicine will only give temporary relief as it is not treating the cause.
