Call his doctor: Typical signs of anemia in babies are pale skin and tiredness as well as irritability and loss of appetite. Many babies have no symptoms. Risks for developing iron-deficiency anemia are premature/low-birth weight babies, formula without iron fortification or breast feeding without iron-fortified foods after 4 months. Call his doctor to discuss; a test may be recommended now. Good wishes:)
