Can you tell me the symptoms of anemia? And why does it make you pale

Tiredness: Patients mostly experience fatigue and tiredness. Some can have weird symptoms like a desire to chew ice, and rarely pica (dirt). It makes you look pale because red cells are low, and with lower red cells your skin becomes pale.

More of a sign: Than a symptom. Pale color or pallor is due to the lower numbers of red blood cells diminishing the tone of the skin a producing a lighter hue.
