A member asked:

Is it better to have root canal or extraction for lateral incisor as the decay part is almost half of the teeth?

Good question...: And one you should be discussing with your dentist. The root canal will be followed up with a post and a crown since half the tooth is rotten. Extract the tooth, and how will it be replaced? Implant? Partial denture? Leave the space? Lots of things to consider.... all the best.

The root canal: The root canal therapy is a dental treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth instead of removing it. See a dentist ASAP.
