Yes, but: Hi. In the US, we don't use prednisone (Iodotra) for CAH; we use low dose dexamethasone. Prednisone can cross react in some cortisol assays (if your doc happens to want to measure cortisol); dexamethasone doesn't cross react. But prednisone (and prednisolone) work fine for suppressing the adrenal pathway in CAH. Use only enough to suppress the pathway, but not enough to make you Cushingoid!
