PCOS: Hi. PCOS sounds likely, but that wouldn't explain the elevated androstenedione (A-dione). Was the 17-hydroxyprogesterone tested to exclude CAH? CAH due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency is the most common CAH, but not the only one. I'm still guessing there is CAH to explain the elevated A-dione. I have patients who have both PCOS and CAH. Good luck!

PolycysticOvarianSyn: You have polycystic ovaries and elevated testosterone and moderately elevated Androstenedione levels and that will go with a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. We do not know why you were tested foe CAH at age of 21 Follow up with your Endocrinologist
