A member asked:

If you're a short person and you would like to be taller just a few inches and you're only 17 can a doctor give you a growth hormone to help ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Short at 17: At your age your height is unlikely to grow much more. The bones close around your age group and the bones become stronger over the next few years without growing longer. Almost all of us would like to be taller but it doesn't work that way.
