Not just spasm: "drunk like, slurred words" is not from a muscle spasm. I would worry about the blood supply to the brain - stroke, for instance. I would get MRI brain and ultrasound of the neck arteries. If that's normal, then see a neurologist for possible EEG to rule out seizure. Sometimes the effect of medications changes over the years. Changes in metabolism of the drug due to liver can make newsymptoms

I had an mri done of my cervical spine. If there is compression of the nerves that exit out between the c5-c6 cervical spine can that effect the tricep muscles or cause denervation of the tricep muscles?
EEG&MRI tests4 seizures.Result neg.So what's split-second loss of consc.,falling 4ward&muscles very tense,brain feels 'shaken'.Just had this1st time.
