Tinea corporis: Tinea corporis is the medical term for ringworm. Athlete's foot, Men's Jock itch are also caused by the same fungal types. The infection likely runs too deep for the topicals to penetrate. Oral medications like fluconazole, terbinafine or itraconazole work really well. Your doctor should monitor your liver during treatment and you should be pregnant or breast-feeding while taking any of this.
