Metamucil: Metamucil is a good source of fiber. We should be striving to get 20 to 30 g of fiber in our diet a day, and very few of us achieve that. Since you notice a difference with Metamucil, your body is telling you that the extra fiber is necessary. The wafers are fine, but it is good to remember that with any fiber supplement, taking extra fluid is important also. I would stick with it. Good luck.
