A member asked:

When you eat, you have more gastric acid, right? so your stomach is more acidic when you eat, correct?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: When you eat you need acid to break down food into particles so the acid content increases with food intake. Once food leaves the stomach it becomes buffered with alkaline solution in the small intestine.
