A member asked:

Side pain and foamy urine as the only symptoms. (no fever) does this mean i have kidney problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Foamy urine can be caused by forceful urination, dehydration or some other rare and more serious conditions. Make sure that you are drinking 60-80 oz of water daily and avoid alcohol and caffeine. Urinate when you first feel the urge, don't wait until your bladder is over full. If the pain and foamy urine continue see a doctor for an evaluation.
