What kind of x-rays or things can the er do to see if someone is having heart attack or blockage? just curious

EKG, blood test, ...: EKG which is an electrical recording of the heart using electrodes placed on the skin. Blood test which can show evidence of damage to the heart muscle. Angiography which shows if there is blockage in the heart circulation.

Coronary CT: They can do a fast coronary CT if they are equipped for it. In conjunction with blood tests (troponin), they can 'rule out' a heart attack.

See below: EKG and cardiac enzymes. If the hospital has a cathlab then it gets activated and individual usually get a Percutaneous intervention or Bypass if emergency. If not thrombolytic medications can be tried to dissolve thrombus.
