Is there anyway to prevent putting weight on during pregnancy?

Don't: It's healthiest to gain a slow sustained amount during pregnancy. Talk w/your ob.

Gaining a good thing: If you don't gain some weight during your pregnancy, your baby has a much higher chance of having significant problems. Talk with your doctor about how much weight gain would be right for you. But please, for your baby's sake, be willing to gain an appropriate amount of weight!
