Prolonged fever: I tell most of my patients that if you have been using OTC medications for 2-3 days and seeing no improvement or worsening of symptoms that is when you need to call your doctor. Since you have had these symptoms for 2-3 days I would recommend getting an examination. Hope this helps.

See your doctor: Hi. That sounds very suspicious for Strep throat, which would need to be treated. It could even be influenza. Please go to an insta-care and be evaluated. Good luck!
