Yes it should: although you already tried travocort cream the Betamethasone has a good chance at helping. I would take cool showers and use glycerin soaps instead of real soap. When you get out of the shower you should apply a good moisturizer to your wet skin prior to toweling dry..then towel dry. then apply the Betamethasone 2-3 times per day for a week or less. Antihistamine is a must if itching at night.
